Dennis Lee & Co was formed in 1976. The original business operated from an old barn in a farmyard and its foundation was based on demand for hydraulic connectors specifically for oil industry companies at Great Yarmouth and Aberdeen.

The business quickly expanded to supply other industries, the largest being Fork-lift truck manufacturers.

During the mid 1980's Dennis Lee diversified into manufacturing and refurbishing hydraulic cylinders and the company now has considerable stocks of seals, chrome bar for pistons rods etc. in addition to a comprehensive range of specialist machinery for this purpose.

In the last 10 years the company has added general precision machined components to its portfolio and has built up an extensive range of modern CNC production machinery. This work is undertaken for a wide variety of businesses ranging from an enterprising local farmer building a one off machine to high profile national manufacturing companies.

In March 2005 the company moved to a purpose designed 1300 sq.m. factory (14000 sq.ft.). This natural progression will permit the business to continue its long term goal of looking to the future and fulfilling the customers ever changing requirements.
